Draft GoDanville2050 Plan Available for Public Review
The Danville Metropolitan Planning Organization invites the public to review and comment on the draft GoDanville2050 Long-Range Transportation Plan.
Comments will be accepted through 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. A public hearing will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Danville Regional Airport Terminal Building, 424 Airport Drive, Danville, Virginia.
Welcome to the official site for the Danville Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (MPO) 2050 Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), GoDanville2050. This plan is our community’s roadmap for the next 25+ years of transportation investments. It covers all modes – roads, transit, walking, biking, and freight – and helps us secure state and federal funding for projects that matter most.

The draft plan is now available for public review. Comments received during the July 17–August 17, 2026 review period will be considered before Policy Board action.
